Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

A well-balanced attack led Calvary Christian Academy over Stranahan in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. The Calvary Christian Academy Eagles were the clear victor by an 81-55 margin over the Stranahan Mighty Dragons. The Eagles pushed the score to 59-39 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mighty Dragons had little chance of recovering from.

Calvary Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cayden Daughtry, who went 8 for 16 on his way to 26 points and four steals. Daughtry is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Shon Abaev was another key player, going 6 of 11from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points.

Stranahan lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being David Nealy, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Brown, who had 12 points and eight rebounds.
