Basketball Game Preview: Burkburnett Bulldogs vs. Southwest Raiders

Burkburnett has won six straight games at home, while Southwest has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Burkburnett Bulldogs will welcome the Southwest Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Tuesday, Burkburnett humbled Springtown with an 86-37 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Porcupines recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Southwest took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 83-42 victory over Benbrook. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Bobcats are ranked 631st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Southwest has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.1 points over those games. As for Burkburnett, their win bumped their record up to 26-6.
