Softball Recap: New Heights Christian Academy Comes Up Short

New Heights Christian Academy managed to slip by Springfield Catholic the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. New Heights Christian Academy lost 11-1 to Springfield Catholic on Monday. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Irish apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

New Heights Christian Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was KALLIE SPENCER, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

New Heights Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Springfield Catholic, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, New Heights Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Purdy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Springfield Catholic, they will host Strafford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
