Baseball Recap: Scott Eagles vs. Montgomery County Indians

After flying high against Mason County on Monday, Scott came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 8-5 to the Montgomery County Indians on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-3 back in April.

Scott saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Cook, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another was Carson Bleha, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 17-20. As for Montgomery County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-7 record this season.

Scott does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Montgomery County, they will take on Campbell County at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
