Soccer Game Preview: Howell vs. Churchill

The Howell Highlanders will head out to challenge the Churchill Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Churchill took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Howell, who comes in off a win.

Howell is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Carman-Ainsworth on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what Howell needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Meanwhile, Churchill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Glenn, falling 11-0.

Churchill's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Howell, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5-1.

Howell beat Churchill 2-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2018. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
