Softball Recap: Kountze Lions vs. Hardin Hornets
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Kountze ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hardin Hornets, sneaking past 7-6. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Mckinley Rowinsky made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 17 over eight innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.5 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-5.
In other batting news, Kyla Parker was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Avie Johnson, who got four hits from her four at bats.

Hardin is facing Warren at the right time seeing as Warren is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
