It was a good run, but New London unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 48-41 to the Perkins Pirates. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

New London's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5. As for Perkins, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New London will venture away from home to take on South Central at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. New London is facing South Central at the right time seeing as South Central is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. Perkins has already played their next matchup (against Columbian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
