Madison County won the last time they faced Lincoln and things went their way on Friday too. Madison County came out on top against Lincoln by a score of 5-2.

Alden Bass made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jaidyn Wesley, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Anna-Kayte Smith, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

Madison County's record now sits at 10-1. As for Lincoln, they moved to 3-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison County will challenge Suwannee at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln, they will venture away from home to face off against Florida State University High School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
