Northeast had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 25-14, 25-19, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Academy at Palumbo posted their closest win since April 11th on Monday. They won by a set and slipped past Carver High School of Engineering & Science 3-2.

Academy at Palumbo now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Northeast, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3.
