Port Gibson came out on top against Hazlehurst on Friday thanks in part to Kendarrius Evans's efforts. Evans scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-2, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now stolen at least one stolen base in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
