Volleyball Recap: Arcata Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Arcata had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the McKinleyville Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

One reason for the win was Arcata's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-8.

Nora Brumbaugh paced Arcata's offense, picking up 13 kills. Brumbaugh got some help from Harper Appy and her 23 assists. Finally, Colby Eisner kept Arcata's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Arcata's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for McKinleyville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Coming up, Arcata will be playing in front of their home fans against Eureka at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McKinleyville, they will head out to square off against St. Bernard's at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
