Glynn Academy is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing South Effingham: they outscored them in every quarter. The Terrors were the clear victors by a 28-2 margin over the Mustangs last Friday. The Terrors haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Effingham County made easy work of Greenbrier on Friday and carried off a 42-17 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rebels' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 288th).

Effingham County's win came from a few key players Glynn Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Trayvis Hunter, who picked up 109 receiving yards and a pair of scores. That's the most receiving yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tucker Perkins, who threw for zero yards and three touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes.

Glynn Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Effingham County, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
