Volleyball Recap: Jordan Has No Trouble Against East

Jordan not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the East Leopards as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Beetdiggers, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Felita Tauvao paced Jordan's offense, picking up 11 kills. Tauvao got some help from Lucy Palmer and her 19 assists. Paige Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Jordan now has a winning record of 8-7. As for East, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Jordan will take on Murray at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Beetdiggers surely won't give up without a fight. As for East, they will be playing at home against Cottonwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
