Wilsonville waltzed into their game on Thursday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with a 68-57 victory over the Canby Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the defeat, Canby had strong showings from Jaxon Lawson, who posted 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals, and Dylan Nelson, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 14 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave Nelson a new career-high in points. Max Taggart was another key player, going 5 of 10 en route to 11 points.

Wilsonville's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. As for Canby, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-7.
