Ironwood Ridge is a perfect 3-0 against Walden Grove since October of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Nighthawks will venture away from home to take on the Red Wolves at 6:30 p.m. Ironwood Ridge will be strutting in after a win while Walden Grove will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Ironwood Ridge turned things around against Mica Mountain on Thursday. They skirted past the Thunderbolts 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Nighthawks have posted since September 20th.

Ironwood Ridge wouldn't go down easily and took Mica Mountain into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 28-26, 19-25, 22-25, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Walden Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Mica Mountain.

Walden Grove's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Ironwood Ridge, the win got them back to even at 15-15.

Ironwood Ridge took their victory against Walden Grove in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Nighthawks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
