Baldwin County came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Spanish Fort Toros, falling 7-0. Baldwin County have struggled against Spanish Fort recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Baldwin County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6-2. As for Spanish Fort, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1-2.

Coming up, Baldwin County is taking a road trip to square off against Saraland at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spanish Fort, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Fairhope at 5:00 p.m.
