Basketball Recap: Mid-Peninsula Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the Mid-Peninsula Dragons might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Oceana Sharks an easy 62-36 win.

Mid-Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Oceana, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Mid-Peninsula will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain View Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Oceana, they will head out to take on Pacific Bay Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Oceana is facing Pacific Bay Christian at the right time seeing as Pacific Bay Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
