Volleyball Recap: Weeping Water Takes a Loss

Weeping Water was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars.

Despite the defeat, Weeping Water saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ella Huskey had four digs and three aces.

Weeping Water's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Weeping Water wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Cedar Bluffs on the 20th. As for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Bancroft-Rosalie on the 20th.
