Edgewood had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Streetsboro Rockets on Monday, sneaking past 7-6. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Edgewood's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Streetsboro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-9 record this season.

Edgewood will challenge Perry at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 3.6, the Pirates 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Streetsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
