Volleyball Recap: Westlake Takes a Loss

Westlake saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arcadia Apaches. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Thunder were not able to get on the board.

Parker Swensen paced Westlake's offense, picking up seven kills. Swensen got some help from Keagan Cundiff and his 22 assists.

This is the second loss in a row for Westlake and nudges their season record down to 9-4. As for Arcadia, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Westlake has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Carson on the 29th. As for Arcadia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Bell Gardens on the 29th.
