Riverside dropped down to 10-3 on Thursday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Boiling Springs Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Jelise Sanders paced Riverside's offense, picking up nine kills. Sanders got some help from Kaitlyn Haroski and her 22 assists. Finally, Sanders was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high nine blocks.

As for Boiling Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted against Riverside since August 22, 2017.

Boiling Springs was led to victory by Hayden Senger and Karina Tsisun. Senger had nine digs and four aces, while Tsisun had ten kills and two blocks. That's the most aces Senger has posted since back in August.
