            Alamo Navajo entered their tilt with Carrizozo on Friday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Carrizozo Grizzlies 91-38. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11  contests by 26  points or more this season.

Alamo Navajo was led to victory by  Andy Pino and  Zephaniah Guerro.  Pino  dropped  a double-double with 23 points and 13  rebounds, while  Guerro  dropped  a double-double with 25  points and 11  boards. Guerro is  on a roll when it comes to  rebounds, as he's  now  pulled down eight or more in each of the last 31 games he's  played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was  Scotty Guerro, who  posted nine points in addition to five  assists and three  steals.
 Alamo Navajo was working as a unit and  finished the game with 20  assists. That's the most  assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.
Alamo Navajo's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Carrizozo, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost nine of their last 11 matchups,  which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record  this season.
 Alamo Navajo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  game,  a  78-50  defeat against Mountainair on the 15th. As for Carrizozo, they have also  already played their next contest,  a  52-41  loss against Hondo Valley on the 18th.
