It's playoff time, and Ashe County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the South Rowan Raiders by a score of 48-39 on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Huskies as they're now sitting on four straight.

Ashe County found their leader in sophomore Taryn Kilby, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 boards. Kilby is becoming a predictor of the Huskies' success: when she posts at least ten rebounds the team is 3-1 (and 7-13 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Addi Williams, who posted nine points and five boards.

Ashe County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. They are 9-2 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Ashe County's win bumped their record up to 10-14. As for South Rowan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.

Ashe County has already played their next matchup, a 59-24 loss against Hibriten on the 26th. South Rowan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
