Basketball Game Preview: Dora Bulldogs vs. Good Hope Raiders

The Dora Bulldogs will challenge the Good Hope Raiders at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dora is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season.

Dora saw some tournament action last Saturday. They walked away with a 46-38 victory over Harrison County.

Dora's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bella Reese, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards. Reese has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 25 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'Laya Harris, who posted 18 points along with five boards and three steals.

Dora smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in six consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Good Hope unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 63-51 to Nolensville.

Dora's record is now 11-7. As for Good Hope, their loss dropped their record down to 14-3.

Dora was taken down by Good Hope 67-22 in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. Can Dora avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
