Hoover hasn't lost a match since September 9th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Berea-Midpark Titans. Given Hoover's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 79th, while Berea-Midpark are ranked 377th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hoover pushed their record up to 8-3-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Berea-Midpark, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Hoover will face off against Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
