 Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Escambia County Blue Devils walked away with it. They walked away with  a   43-35  win over the Bulldogs  on Monday. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Escambia County.
 Escambia County got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Stephen Williams out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 12  rebounds. Williams is on a roll when it comes to  rebounds, as he's  now  pulled down eight or more in the last 14 games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cleo Bolar jr., who  scored 17 points.
 Escambia County is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record  this season. As for UMS-Wright Prep, they now  have a losing record at 16-17.
 Escambia County is on the road again  on Wednesday and plays Jackson at 5:45  p.m.  on February 21st. Jackson will roll in looking for their  17th straight  win, something Escambia County surely won't give up without a fight. UMS-Wright Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
