Basketball Recap: Stover Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Stover had no trouble coming through when it counted. They secured a 60-56 W over the Lone Jack Mules on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Several Mules players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Garrett Mantzey, who to rack up 16 points. That's the most points Mantzey has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brett Nicholson, who on his way to 13 points.

Stover's win bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Lone Jack, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Stover nor Lone Jack have any future games scheduled.
