Baseball Recap: Boonsboro Takes a Loss

Boonsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brunswick Railroaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Railroaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 back in March.

Boonsboro saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Rhodes, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Boonsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Brunswick, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boonsboro will challenge North Hagerstown at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brunswick, they will take on Grace Academy in a tournament on Saturday.
