East Longmeadow strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Holyoke Purple Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 7th.

East Longmeadow never let Holyoke on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 27-25.

Tavion Rehbien paced East Longmeadow's offense, picking up 11 kills. Rehbien got some help from Cole Berthiaume and his 32 assists. Finally, Brodie Truong kept East Longmeadow's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

East Longmeadow's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0. As for Holyoke, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Longmeadow will face off against Granby at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holyoke, they will square off against Chicopee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
