Basketball Recap: Woodward-Granger Drops Season-High Score on Ogden

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodward-Granger). They claimed a resounding 81-7 win over the Ogden Bulldogs. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Woodward-Granger's third in a row) raised their record to 10-6. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 15.3 points per game. As for Ogden, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Woodward-Granger and Ogden's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Woodward-Granger and North Mahaska (who has only given up 29.31 points per game) will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ogden will face off against Coon Rapids-Bayard at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, a team that's only allowed 29 points per game.
