Game recap: Lassiter High School Football Team beats Roswell

MARIETTA, Ga. - Lassiter (Marietta, Ga.) extended its winning streak to nine games with a 28-14 victory over Roswell (Ga.) on Saturday.

The Trojans were up 21-14 at the half after taking the lead on a Lane Jackman touchdown run in the first quarter.

Bernie Arowoselu made a difference for the Hornets. He caught one touchdown.

Eddie Printz stood out for Lassiter in the win. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown and ran for one touchdown.

LHS came into the game allowing 15.9 points per game. Roswell's 14 points were below its season average of 17.8 per game.



The defeat comes as a step back for Roswell, which notched a 34-6 victory over Cherokee in its previous outing.

Lassiter (9-0) will play a AAAAAA Region 5 game against Etowah next week, while Roswell (2-7) will take on Walton also in a AAAAAA Region 5 game.
