Preview: Flora Wolves vs. Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions
Flora has been on the road for three straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Saturday, Flora came up short against Wayne City and fell 43-32.
Meanwhile, Christ Our Rock Lutheran's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 39-30 to Sandoval.
Flora bumped their record down to 4-18 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.0 points per game. As for Christ Our Rock Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
