Basketball Recap: San Juan Broncos vs. Emery Spartans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Panguitch, San Juan was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They managed a 71-67 win over the Emery Spartans. This was payback for the Broncos, who suffered a 69-50 defeat the last time these two teams met.
San Juan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tripp Palmer, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Ivins, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine assists.
Loss or not, Emery got some senior leadership from Jace Frandsen and Porter Hurdsman.
