Loyola waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. Everything went their way against the Chaminade Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Cubs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

One reason for the win was Loyola's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 25-17.

Loyola pushed their record up to 24-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Chaminade, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Loyola is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chaminade will take on rival Crespi at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
