Volleyball Recap: Mansfield Timberview Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Everman on Friday, Mansfield Timberview came back down to earth. The Wolves took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cleburne Yellowjackets on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Natalia Lathan paced Mansfield Timberview's offense, picking up ten kills. Lathan got some help from Aminat Ogunbiyi and her 20 assists. Brooklyn Piper controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Haley Price was a one-woman wrecking crew For Cleburne. as she had 32 assists and eight digs. That's the most assists Price has posted over her last seven matches.

Mansfield Timberview has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-22 record this season. As for Cleburne, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 13-20.
