It was a proper cat-fight when Summers County duked it out with PikeView on Friday. The Summers County Bobcats came out on top against the PikeView Panthers by a score of 59-50. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Panthers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 54-39 defeat.

The victory made it two in a row for Summers County and bumps their season record up to 10-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for PikeView, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Looking ahead, Summers County will square off against Williamstown at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for PikeView, they will challenge Bluefield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. PikeView is facing Bluefield at the right time seeing as Bluefield is stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
