Volleyball Recap: Mendota Comes Up Short on the Road Against Torres

Mendota had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Torres Toros on Thursday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Aztecs have suffered since October 1, 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was Giana Gonzalez, who had seven aces.

Coming up, Mendota will host Fowler at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Torres, they will head out to face off against Madera at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
