Meanwhile, Cassopolis was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 29-28 heartbreaker at the hands of Hartford.

Centreville's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Cassopolis, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything came up roses for Centreville against Cassopolis in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 62-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
