Baseball Game Preview: Kellis Cougars vs. Williams Field Black Hawks

The Kellis Cougars will head out to take on the Williams Field Black Hawks at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Kellis has given up an average of 12.8 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Kellis after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Ironwood, falling 15-2. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jose Ortiz Felix made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Williams Field lost 10-1 to Highland on Thursday.

Williams Field saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Silas Stephens, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Williams Field's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Kellis, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Kellis might still be hurting after the 20-1 defeat they got from Williams Field when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Kellis avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
