On Thursday, Greenfield/Northwestern didn't have quite enough to beat Triopia/Virginia and fell 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost three in a row.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Greenfield/Northwestern sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-14, 8-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Barry Western was able to grind out a solid win over Seymour on Monday, taking the game 2-0. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

While Barry Western won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23.

Barry Western's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Greenfield/Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 17-12-1.
