Baseball Recap: West Lincoln Comes Up Short

After flying high against West Caldwell last Tuesday, West Lincoln came back down to earth. West Lincoln came up short against the Burns Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 10-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

West Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Burns, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

West Lincoln didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-0 victory against East Burke on the 21st. As for Burns, they have also already played their next matchup, a 7-6 defeat against Tuscola on the 21st.
