Softball Recap: Wilder Comes Up Short

After flying high against Horseshoe Bend on Friday, Wilder came back down to earth. Wilder fell just short of Idaho City by a score of 18-17 on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (11), Wilder still had to take the loss.

Wilder got a massive performance out of M. Longest, who went 4-for-6 with six stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was A. Scott, who went 4-for-6 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.

Wilder has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Idaho City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Wilder nor Idaho City have any future games scheduled.
