Basketball Recap: Gresham Community Takes a Loss

Gresham Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-32 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wausaukee Rangers. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rangers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

Gresham Community's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Wausaukee, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-16.

Coming up, Gresham Community will take on Three Lakes/Phelps at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wausaukee, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Crivitz at 7:15 p.m.
