With a playoff win on the line, Ripon Christian rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They skirted past the River Valley Falcons 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Ripon Christian was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 22-25, 16-25, 25-14, 15-12.

Mason Tameling paced Ripon Christian's offense, picking up 24 kills. Tameling got some help from Daniel Lambdin and his 42 assists. Ian Brown controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, River Valley had strong showings from Tyler Sharp, who had eight digs and two aces, and Jude Trojan, who had ten kills, nine digs, and two blocks. Trojan is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had seven or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Ripon Christian's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-9. As for River Valley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 29-8 record.

Looking ahead, Ripon Christian will challenge Christian Brothers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. River Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
