Soccer Game Preview: Union vs. Denver

Union hasn't had much luck against Denver recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Knights will challenge the Cyclones at 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Union's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gladbrook-Reinbeck on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Denver kept a clean sheet against Columbus Catholic on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Sailors with a sharp 10-0 win. Denver might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by three goals or more this season.

Denver's victory bumped their record up to 5-0-1. As for Union, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6-1.

Union might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Denver in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
