Volleyball Recap: Cheraw Comes Up Short

Cheraw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Sumter Gamecocks.

Cheraw's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Sumter, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 5-8-2 record.

Cheraw wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Chesterfield on the 20th. As for Sumter, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Socastee on the 20th.
