Hillsboro had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals. Considering Hillsboro have won ten contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Hillsboro pushed their record up to 14-1-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6-1.
