The Lions fell just short of the Christian Learning Center Mustangs by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Plaza Heights Christian Academy took Christian Learning Center into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking ten-point loss. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-23, 14-25, 25-14, 15-5.

When it comes to explaining why Plaza Heights Christian Academy lost, don't look at Sydney Berry. Despite the final result, she had 11 kills, 11 digs, and seven blocks. Another player making a difference was Halle Korth, who had eight digs, five kills, and two blocks.
