Softball Recap: Springfield Township Takes a Loss

Springfield Township lost against New Hope-Solebury back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans came up short against the Lions, falling 14-4.

Springfield Township's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for New Hope-Solebury, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Springfield Township is set to challenge their familiar foe Lower Moreland at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, New Hope-Solebury will take on rival Upper Moreland at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 3.4, the Bears 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
