 Wagner pushed their score all the way to ten on Sunday, but even that wasn't enough to win. Their  rough  21-10 loss to the Madison Golden Knights  might stick with them for a while. Wagner was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Madison apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in May of 2023.
  MIKAYLA DANSKY was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  ALLISON DEMONTREUX, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances.
 Even though they lost, Wagner  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 This is  the second loss in a row for Wagner and  nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Madison, the  victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
 Wagner will head out on the road to  face off against  Tottenville at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Wagner is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9  runs per game this season. As for Madison, they will be playing at home against Roosevelt at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. One thing working in Madison's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  every time they've taken the field this season.
